Teepa Snow Returns to Seattle

Teepa SnowWith A Little Help is proud to present the return of advocate and educator Teepa Snow. Snow’s workshops, “The ABC’s and D’s of Dementia,”  integrate up to date knowledge about dementia with strategies and tools for building personal connections with people experiencing the condition. Entertaining and insightful, Snow shines a bright light on the challenging dynamics dementia creates for family, friends, and caregivers.  Her unique presentations are open to all. Participants leave sessions with a better understanding about the devastating experience of losing cognitive ability and/or functionality as well as insights into interpreting needs.

Snow’s eight workshops in Seattle on March 10, 11, and 12 will introduce basic dementia caregiving skills and build up to person centered care. Are you a caregiving professional? These three hour workshops are approved for continuing education credits and will inform all levels of skill!

Do you love someone living with dementia?  Gain more understanding about your loved one’s experience and acquire insights into your new role.  Get tips on troubleshooting the trying moments and learn when to step back or away. Consider one or several of these excellent sessions.

Snow is a tireless advocate for people experiencing dementia. In her sessions she often role plays dementia and uses humor to help audiences understand the root of common behaviors and gain coping skills.  Snow has many organizational affiliations  and she’s a member of the U.S. Dementia Action Alliance an organization focused solely on improving dementia care.
