What kind of services do you provide?
With a Little Help provides loving and supportive non-medical home care to seniors and others with special needs with the goal of helping seniors stay active in life.
Our caregivers happily assist with everything from meals, light housekeeping and transportation to personal care needs. We work on an hourly, daily or overnight customized schedule.
What cities in King and Snohomish County do you serve?
With a Little Help is licensed in King and Snohomish Counties. We primarily work with clients in the greater Seattle and Bellevue areas.

What are your fees?
What is travel time?
Travel time is a 15 minute charge that is added to each shift, and is passed on to caregivers, who spend quite a bit of time in their cars often traveling between more than one client each day. It’s a way to acknowledge the extra time it takes them to get to work and the wear and tear they put on their vehicles.
Are your services covered by insurance or Medicare?
Unfortunately, our services are not covered by Medicare. Certain types of long term care insurance do cover our care and we are happy to work with you to get things set up with your long term care insurance company.
Do you only work with seniors?
Although the majority of our clients are seniors, we have worked with people from ages 19 to 102!
Are your caregivers bonded and insured?
Yes, we are bonded and insured.
How do you hire your caregivers?
With a Little Help takes the hiring process very seriously and we work hard to hire only mature, reliable caregivers.
We have an extensive screening process that includes phone and in-person interviews, calls to references and prior employers, a national criminal background check, a driving history report and an APS (Adult Protective Services) registry check. We then spend time getting to know new caregivers during our orientation process. This helps greatly when the all important time comes to match caregivers with clients.
Who are your caregivers?
With a Little Help draws mature, reliable caregivers from a variety of backgrounds that have a passion for helping people.
Ninety percent of our caregivers have some college education and many hold degrees. The average age of our caregivers is 53 and they often work part-time. They tend to be well-travelled with extensive life experiences that serve them well in their job and heighten the quality of conversations they have with clients.
With a Little Help provides a warm and supportive work environment which has led to low turnover and an average tenure of three years.
